The Dan Wesson Specialist is a 1911-style pistol designed for law enforcement and personal defense. The slide, frame and barrel are all hand-fit, ensuring precise tolerances. Featuring a Black Duty finish; optics-ready slide; match-grade barrel; the front strap and mainspring housing are checkered for an improved grip; G10 grips provide a comfortable and secure hold; integral 1913 Picatinny; undercut trigger guard and recessed slide stop enable the installation of laser grips; ambidextrous thumb safety makes it a popular choice among left-handed shooters; fiber optic front sight and an adjustable rear sight.
