- Usage Instructions : 1. Ensure your AR15 is unloaded and the Bolt Carrier Group (BCG) is in the forward position. 2. Retract the lower receiver rear takedown pin, and open the upper receiver. 3. Remove the existing charging handle and BCG. 4. Insert the Blackbeard BCG. 5. Press the hammer back to the rear until it locks into place. 6. Close the upper receiver and re-secure the takedown pin. 7. Insert the Blackbeard X magazine into the magazine well. 8. Disengage the safety and press the trigger, and the Blackbeard system will automatically reset the trigger each timea trigger break is detected. 9. Turn on the Mantis X inside the Blackbeard X magazine by pressing the power button on the magazine. A blue light will flash, indicating that the unit is ready to connect to the Mantis X app. 10. In the app, press the "Connect" button to connect to the Blackbeard X.
