Rated 2 out of 5 by from OK product I purchased these to use on my ATV for an electric ice auger. First use, one of the grips broke internally, so the ratcheting feature no longer worked. So now instead of staying closed, the grip's internal spring pushes it open. Contacted Kolpin, they sent out a "new" grip only. The "new" grip had noticeable scratch marks on it and was the older logo and version from Kolpin. Customer service from Kolpin was not up to par and put the blame on me for the product breaking, as well as stating that the "new" product was not a "returned" item. It was still used at some point though. Makes me second guess purchasing future products from Kolpin (which was purchased by Polaris). Gave 2 stars because they didn't fall apart while on the ATV, but the main securing of items feature no longer works.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from They look cool I bought these last winter and tried to use them for a ice auger holder but that didn't work. Even a chisel eventually rattles loose. I was driving through the woods this fall and drove through some Vines. Both of these Rhino grips broke and I don't think I will replace them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from racheting grips I bought these grips along with the non ratcheting grips. I am converting a pull golf cart and a jogging stroller to shotgun carts. The grips are working well for the intended purpose. I am an old widow and don't have a lot of hand strength. It is impossible for me to remove the clips to get better positioning.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't buy this unless it has been improved I purchased 2 pair of these at Bass Po Shop. Two years later the rubber became like gooey clay. It got all over everything. I called Kolpin they told me they had no idea why that would have happened and said that the items were out of warranty put offered me another 2 pair at a reduced price. Convinced that I just must have gotten 4 funky clamps I gave them another try. So here I am again with the same exact problem. I have a $10,000 GPZ7000 Minelab Metal Detector for professional gold prospecting. I just spent an hour and a half getting this sticky goo off of my detector with denatured alcohol. I love the concept, but there is seriously something wrong with the rubber they use in these ratchets. They are worth than useless, they are damaging my expensive equipment. You can literally pinch pieces of this rubber off with your thump and index finger.
