Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this pipe! This pipe is perfect for a drainage line along my drive. I wanted to allow for water but closing in the ditch so we can drive over it. The volume is adequate and quite an improvement over 4”. It is solid, not perforated, so I don’t have to worry about it filling in with dirt over time. The pipe is light but strong. It’s fairly easy to work with, but a little challenging to connect and insert the end in the bell of a new piece (with glue applied) unless I had something to push against. I just put one end up against the tractor wheel, and pushed hard from the other end. (I recommend slow setting pvc glue, not the fast/hot kind. This gives a little extra finaggle time to get the pipe section inserted far enough). When the length of sections got up to 90 ft it was a bit harder. The pipe was placed over a 2” base of 3/4” river rock, then buried with the same, with a top layer of 3/4” ‘crusher’, to come up to grade, which compacts down for a decent driving surface. I placed galvanized hardware cloth over the ends to keep debris and varmints out of the pipe. Overall, I’m very satisfied, including the pick-up process in the back lot. Friendly personnel a bonus.
