Just as good as they used to beI grew up in the Milwaukee area and as a kid these were my favorite candy. As an adult I moved to California and would have my sister in law send me bags of these from Fleet Farm every so often. To my dismay about 12 years ago they stopped making these and it was said that the original recipe had disappeared as well as the machinery to make them...heartbreaking! But now thank goodness they are back and are identical to the original candy. You might ask "How do you know this?", because back in 2007 my sister in law sent me several bags of them and a couple of years later when I heard that they were no longer being made I took the last two bags I had of them and sealed them in zip lock bags and kept them in my refrigerator to slowly ration them out. When the new candy arrived yesterday I broke out the last old bag to compare them and to my relief and joy they were identical! (Except the old ones were a bit harder). I realize this sounds like an insane person's adoration of a candy (and I don't really even like candy on the whole) but these things are CRAZY good!

Thank You God - You answered my prayerSimple indescribably the best unique candy to ever exist !!!! These have been around for almost 100 years but have vanished for about 20. Thank you Fleet Farms for having a part in bringing them back. Everyone should get a chance to try them a least once and decide for themselves. Soft and chewy gum drop with a sweet and delightful flavor. Great for the holidays....It's really funny because when they disappeared there were companies trying to remake them and failed sadly. These are the real deal back for good....try not to eat to many...it's not easy
