Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not the same 760 Just bought the 760 for my son because I enjoyed mine so much as a kid. Two things have changed significantly which is causing me to return. The B.B. loading is more difficult because the load spot is now on the back of the receiver instead of the side. The hole appears to be a 1/4 the size it use to be. Then you have to have a pellet magazine for the pellets, this in my opinion will get lost very easily. You can’t put a pellet in with out it... change those two things back to the mid-90’s version and I’ll go buy another one...

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible acuracy I bought this for my sons 7th birthday. I could not believe how terrible it shot compared to my 760 I got back in 1991. I have a couple Marauders so I have plenty of pellets to try. After two hours of shooting 2 to 3 inch groups at 10 yards are the norm, probably more like 8 yards. Tumbling pellets constantly with absolute zero accuracy. I was not expecting it to shoot like my Marauders and 2260MB but I was expecting an inch at 10 paces away. I actually picked up a Legacy 1000 hoping to make it a little better, much of the same. Even with the rifled barrel, tumbling pellets and shotgun patterns at 10 yards. This is the first negative review I have left in my adult life and I am 36. Horrendous accuracy, trying to chase groups at 10 yards all day long, zero stars.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't buy this bb gun! Have had two Crossman Pumpmaster 760 since 1976. decided to get a newer model since the old one finally stopped working. I shouldn't have wasted my money. Doesn't shoot true. Doesn't load all the time. Had to put tape on loading site as it slides without help, loading site is in a bad location. I have had this gun for 6 months and I hate it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Blew up in son's hand in woods Bought this 760 for my son for Christmas. He's shot it a few times and it's been fine. This weekend we were out in the woods shooting and the gun blew after 10 pumps while my son was holding it (he's 6). The gun is useless now after 5 months and after being shot a few times. I do not recommend this gun.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Extremely inaccurate! I purchased this for my daughter's 9th birthday. It has been the most inaccurate thing I've ever seen. Shoots badly to the right! I grew up using guns daily. To aim 4 inches to the left of the target at 12 feet is absolutely ridiculous! 760 pumpmaster. 713111508. It's junk! A slingshot would be more accurate!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun plinker and great value! This air gun is a good choice for indoor plinking, and much more accurate than expected, for a smoothbore. The light weight is a nice feature, and I really like the current design. The trigger pull is decent, and the pumping effort is so easy. It is very quiet with 2 pumps, and really excels with Destroyer pellets, which tend to grip the target and not ricochet. The 5 pellet magazine just adds to the fun. BB’s are an inexpensive alternative, and it’s good to know they won’t be damaging any rifling when they are used. Since I don’t hunt, I don’t want a powerful air gun, and of course I don’t want to disturb my adjoining neighbors. So for some indoor plinking fun, the quiet little 760 is ideal.
