These are NOT waterproof...
I bought a pair of these when they were $20.00 off, which I figured if I could get a couple hunting seasons out of them, I would be happy. I wore these on a couple of walks to break them in and they were SUPER comfortable. I decided to take them on my mule deer hunt in Montana...which is where I discovered that although they box stated they were waterproof, I had soaking wet feet 30 minutes into Day 1 of my 9 day hunt. Luckily, I was wearing wool socks and we were walking a lot, so my feet Didn't get too cold, but walking 8-9 miles per day with wet, squishy feet is not fun. I was walking through snow and wet grass, not once did I step in water with them. When I got home, I put my hands inside the dry boots and submerged them in 5" of water and could feel the water running in through several seams on each boot. I promptly returned them for a refund.

Feels like slippers with ankle support.
Always bought Rocky boots for the last 35+ years for upland hunting. They have gone downhill as far as fit. Thought I would give Tecs a shot. $89.95 less a $20 off coupon I thought I would give them a try. If they didn’t work out, I would use them around the house. Two years later and I use them every weekend Pheasant hunting in Minnesota. Warm, water proof and they feel like you’re wearing slippers with great ankle support.
