Rated 1 out of 5 by from Redesign Miracle Grow used to have a Feeder that you could dispense the water soluble dry food OR by turning a small knob, you could dispense just water. Why was this feature removed. It makes it very inconvenient when just water is needed vs. the food. Please go back to the old design.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Garden feeder is cheaply made I have been using miracle grow for years. My misplaced my old sprayer so I had to get a new one. This new type is very cheaply made and broke the lock switch the first time I used it. The spray pattern is poor also. The worst part about it is the uneven even mixing of the miracle grow product. Sometimes it came out normal and others was very dark blue because it was spraying almost 100% of the fertilizer instead of mixing it well.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from sad piece of equipment Do not buy this. I used it for 5 minutes and it would not shut off. wasted a lot of fertilizer on the lawn where I didn't want it

Rated 1 out of 5 by from New design is worse. I've used the original feeder for years and loved it. The new version leaves a lot to be desired... like 5 different spray patterns instead of the now, only 3. But the worst is that whereas I used to be able to switch between water only and feed and water, now I can only feed. Really? Now I have to switch to a different nozzle to add more water to an area I just fertilized? Ridiculous. And, who needs to lock the water on? You're holding tthe thing anyway! Bad, bad redesign.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Works well one presumes One presumes that this works well and for the time it takes it seems fairly good.. The only problem I've got is there is no gauge to know exactly when the substance has run out.. For example I assumed as soon as the jar was empty then it need to be filled, that's not the case even though the water is still blue you have to check to see if there are granules still left inside somehow or other it if there isn't then you then have to change over.. or you are using plain water ..In other words it's a bit hit and miss. I would have thought that the miracle Gro website would explain this in more detail to avoid a lot of confusion and indeed this problem is reflected in other reviews I have read.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Leaks all over I followed directions - it's not rocket science after all - but most of the water went down my arms and legs, I was drenched. Unhooked and tried different hose - same thing. The plant food itself is fine, just the delivery system. Going back to mixing in a watering can which is a real pain, but at least I can stay dry during the process.
