Rated 5 out of 5 by from Can't believe the difference. Just had the AAA do the 4 wheel install on my Highlander and can't believe the ride difference these tire make. Faster with idle speed. At least 5 MPH. Smoother and very quiet. Will install 4 more on my Prius.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from GREAT IN RAIN, BUT DON'T GET STATED MILEAGE This is not my 1st set of these tires on present and previous Tahoe's and while great on wet roads this set of 4 tires is wearing the worst of all previous sets. The dealer rotates the tires every 5000 miles and they are all wearing evenly from outside edges to center of the tires. However with 50,000 miles there is no way I will be able to run these tires for the length of the stated and advertised warranty of 70,000 miles. All previous sets went the full 70,000 miles but not these. I have been told by some tire dealers that Michelin was sold just before I purchased these tires and the rubber is not the same compound as previous LTX M/S2. Considering the premium price these tires cost, I will need to consider other brands for the next purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Tire I have had several sets of Michelins over the years and they have all been good tires, but these Defender LTX M/S are the best so far. I ran the PSI up to 40 -it was set at 32 from the installer and that made a big difference. I have not used them in snow yet but took a couple 800 miles trips and hit a lot of rain and sun at speed. These tires make my truck feel like a train- glued to the road...hit 1 to 2 inch pools of water on the interstate and they sliced right through it. Very comfortable ride and no excess noise. The only downside is I think I lost a MPG or two on the highway - but these are for a truck, if you want MPG your driving the wrong vehicle. Buy these tires you will not be sorry.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from First 12,000 miles 4++ Stars have performed well! Bought these Defender LTX M/S for my 14' Subaru Forester 2.5 i , upon recommendation from my local smaller dealer and research ,Is when we decided to up size from 225-60-R17 99H to 225-65-R17 102H so we could get to the Defender LTX M/S vs the Defender T+H, A great decision// for added Tire performance for traction, wet weather traction & braking, snow traction and mixed conditions in the Mid Atlantic region and into W Va travels. Only went with 4++ stars due to only 12k on a 70,000 rated tire is rerasonable and more in line of the performance thus far Yes i have lost about 1-1.5 mpg around town but the performance in handling, stopping and traction improvement locally but also on trips has been noticeable and appreciated. Also about maybe 1 mpg lost on trips has been worth it ,for all the other features we have gained by going with this size and model of Defender. The handling of our Forester has been improved from the OEM Yokahamas 2yrs 24,000 and the P7 All season Plus tires that only game me 32,600 miles for 60,000 mile tire. I rotate these tires every 6,000 miles and having put 12K on them thus far there is no wear noticed. Given the size & gross wt of our Forester SUV , lends to a lighter handling vehicle esp in mixed and snow ; we have gained better driving and performance for this type of SUV which has increased the value to us for our vehicle. I would recommend considering these tires, again I am very pleased with the greater aspect of the tires and getting into the Defender LTX M/S model I plan on updating this review when i get another 12k or on the tire Mark Va

Rated 5 out of 5 by from High mileage is an understatement! Mine are the old style ltx and 6 years old with 87,000 current miles on them. The vehicle came with lattitudes that wore out at 77,000. I rotate myself every 5,000 and keep track of the correct rotation in a book. They show slight signs of sun wear and I'll change them before the next winter with an amazing amount of tread left. People still ask if I just bought new tires. Best handling, noise and wear tires I've ever owned!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Michelin of course I have had Michelin LTX M/S on my last 3 SUV's. I live in wet and sometimes snowy Seattle, the Michelin's have always gotten me there. Why would I change? I just bought 275/55R/20DLTX's, of course.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love my Michelins! My Michelin's are a great performer. They hug the highway and take curves at high speed with ease. I can trek through snow and rain with confidence as tires give me traction to pull through an intersection or the bite to stop on a dime. I love, love, love my Michelin's.
