Rated 5 out of 5 by from Typical Michelin 2014 Charger that came with Pilot MXM4’s which are excellent. Decided to go with a long lasting tire since she has surpassed 120k. The defender has a bit more cushion than the MXM4 and the Pilot Sports I’ve also had. Great highway ride and strong handling attributes even compared with the sportier tire.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Snow traction is back! Had to replace the OEM Hankook Ventus all season tires at 28k miles. They didn’t last long. The major snowfall of the season they had me questioning my Explorer. It’s 4WD and even in the snow mode, traction wasn’t there. Braking was horrible, ABS was kicking in all the time. Felt like I was back to driving my Town Car, and even that dealt with the snow better. The Ford dealer agreed these tires were about done. Weeks later the dealer hooked me up with these tires. No more flat spots. The ride improved, quieter too. Yes I know new tires make a difference. But the old tires weren’t that old. The next snowfall was a big improvement. Traction was back, braking was confident. 1,000 miles with these tires and so far I’m sold this was a smart purchase. 6 inches of unplowed roads this morning and I felt much more confident. Driving smart of course. Cannot say how long these will last but my precious experience of these tires on a ‘99 Tahoe was favorable too. Good tires for this vehicle.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 2nd time I have selected LTX M/S The first set LTX M/S tires lasted 8 years and 3 months...incredible. Granted I should have gotten new tires after 6 years, but these tires still had tons of tread on them when I had them replaced. These new ones seem even tougher somehow. You can by other good tires, but if you want the best I always trust Michelin.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very quiet. Built to last. I installed it on my 2011 chevy suburban. Very good handling in 8" of snow

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Always used Michelin, the I went cheap once. I've always used Michelin, then Ctls were on sale and I chose them. 3 Flat tires in 6 months. Been working at same place same drive path for 25 years. Had the new tires taken off and new Michelins put on. They even road quieter. I won't do it again. Flat tires are a pain to deal with especially when it's freezing out.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Nice tire. Horrid mileage For my last six vehicles I’ve bought Michilens when it came time to replace originals. Nice ride and good handling. These are the same in that respect. However the mileage dropped immediately and consistently from the original tires. I am averaging 15% to 20% LOWER gas mileage since I had these put on. All that great tread is going to give me is several thousand more miles of less than optimal gas economy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the smooth ride and no road noise with my new I'm on my second set of Michelin tires. My brother bought a set of GoodYears and he has a lot more road noise form his tires. He wish he bought the Michelin tires like mine. Thank You

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Starting Off on the Wrong Foot I bought 4 tires on 12/11/18 for my Toyota Tacoma. These replaced a set of LTX MS 2 tires that had about 72k miles on them. I have a lot of history with Michelin tires between our two vehicles and I always had great success with them. But this set has really disappointed me so far. I had the tires mounted and balanced and on the way home I experienced a noticeable shudder. I took the truck right back to the dealership and they balanced all 4 tires again but to no avail. Another set of 4 tires were ordered and installed and I still had the problem. The dealer ended up measuring the runout (roundness) of every tire and found two tires from the first set and one from the second set that did not roll true. So, from the eight tires, he found 4 that rolled true and put them on the truck. That took care of the problem. How fortunate I was to have a dealer who was patient and truly interested in giving me a good product. I had to go back to the dealer 4 times to get it right and the dealer had to eat the labor cost for the last 3 trips. I sure hope this is not a sign of how well these tires will perform over the long haul. Really disappointed in Michelin quality control on this one.
