This cable allows the connection of two Ethernet capable units. GPS sharing includes waypoints, routes, tracks and positions. Mapping cannot be shared. Sonar units can only share information on sonar from the lowest model connected and only with like frequencies. For example, Side Imaging Sonar will not share side imaging views with a non-side imaging unit.
