I get a new pair every yearThey are nice boots. Comfortable and soft on hard surfaces. I wear the soles out on one pair each year so I buy a new pair every year. Cons: 1. their price is keeps going up. Now they are just about the same price as a similar pair of Red Wing boots. Not good. 2. this year the boots came with laces that were too long and longer than my last years pairs. 3. the tongue doesn't ever stay up and always slides down to the side allowing sand and dirt to get inside. The tongue could be stitched up a little higher or maybe the laces could go through a loop on the tongue. 4. Insoles seem to wear out too soon. Would be nice to have better insoles come with the boot. 5. Slippery on slopes, especially a wet slope of grass. Very slippery on a dusting of snow. This must be because the bottom of the soles are not aggressive and are relatively flat. Their traction is great on dry asphalt and concrete. It would be nice if this boot also came in a 2nd version which has a vibram X sole on it.
However i do really enjoy these boots. But if the price keeps going up, and the quality doesn't go up with the price, then I may just consider buying some Red Wings next time around.
Pro: Made in the USA! American flag on the tongue! Thanks!

Exactly what I wanted!I had been looking for work/casual boots. I also try to find products made in America. The Field N Forest boots fit that need perfectly. The boots are well made and the fit was just as advertised. The are very comfortable. The price is very competitive. I would definitely recommend and will buy again.
