Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cultivator I bought this product last October. The first time I used it was in early December. It ran for about 20 minutes and died and would not restart. I returned it to the business where I purchased it for their small engine shop to check it out. It was determined there was an internal engine problem. Earthquake promptly honored the warranty and replaced the cultivator with a new one. I have not used the new one yet, but the original one started easily and did a wonderful job while it ran. I look forward to many years pf use from the new one. I feel like anyone can have an occasional mechanical failure in products they manufacture but the really good companies out there stand behind their products and that is the case in my situation.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Does the job We bought this to stir up a small patch of yard for a small garden. It does do the job but has one serious design flaw. When the wheels and tines are adjusted to get a “deeper dig” into the soil the handles are ridiculously short and anyone over 5’7” will have to stoop to use the cultivator. I’m 5’10” and find it very uncomfortable. I’d be interested if there were handle extensions. Otherwise for such a small cultivator is does a good job. If you are going to have a large garden I would recommend a full size tiller. For backyard gardening, this is “almost” perfect. I would probably buy it again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great tiller I got this to keep the weeds down in between the rows of my garden. It is easy for me to use by myself and does a good job tilling up the weeds. My garden looked good this year and I was able to keep the weeds under control without hours and hours of weeding. I can even go up close to the plants to minimize hand weeding. I’m glad I got it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely great performer! Easy to get it to the garden, can carry it with one hand if necessary. Easy to start. Easy to control. Digs as shallow or as deep as desired. Cleans up easy. This is the tiller I've always wanted.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from No power for even basic garden Had a Honda prior to this worked great. The price of this one attracted me but barely tilled up loose soil. Garden is 10 x 20 and constantly being overturned so soil is prime. Barely any power at all very disappointed

Rated 3 out of 5 by from The jury is out I bought this product back in October. I put it in my storage building and finally got it out to till some leaves into my garden in December. It ran and did a really great job for about 20 minutes, then died. It would not restart at all. I took it back to the merchant where I bought it and they have had it for over a month in their small engine shop. I personally think it was a faulty ignition coil but will have to wait until they let me know. In any event it should be covered under warranty. I will further rate the product when I get it back and have the opportunity to put it to use. My initial rating based on the short time of usage is it is a great product.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed I bought this tiller in hopes of making my gardening easier. I am a very senior gardener who derives great pleasure from my small vegetable and flower patch/ I found this tiller extremely difficult to start especially the strong resistance in trying to pull the starter rope. It seemed like a compression problem of some kinds but certainly not one I wanted to deal with at my age.
