Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy Setup, great saw I bought this after reviewing several table saws. Working alone I had it assembled in under an hour, and it was almost perfectly set up right out of the box. I had to make one extremely small tweak in the fence alignment and another in the splitter. The latter was a little bit confusing as the instructions and photos were not perfectly clear, but once I started adjusting I could see what to do. First crosscuts were right on the money and the first test rip was perfect. The rip fence scale is right on the money. I am very happy that I made this choice. The miter gauge seemed to be the one weak link, but even that proved to be accurate when I used it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good table saw I am writing this review to make you all aware that the dado insert Dewalt sells does fit the space, however do not expect to put any dado blades wider than 1/4-1/2” wide. The throat plate is off center and does not allow for a 3/4” or wider blade...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gear fenced works great! I purchased this particular saw because of the geared drive fence, and found this feature to be excellent. The ability to accurately move the fence, have it remain square to the work, and lock in place are worth the purchase price of this saw.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super happy with mine. Really happy with mine. Mine stated banging on the way down. Then wouldn't wind up. Manual says to clean and oil. I cleaned it then sprayed WD-40 on it. And now raises and lowers like silk.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great DIY Saw Finally upgraded an old jobsite saw I was the second owner of with the Dewalt DWE7491RS jobsite saw. I am one of those garage DIYers so this saw won’t be put through “jobsite” paces, this will be used for numerous projects and cabinet building. Now while I have not used it for any projects yet here is my “out of the box” experience. Setup was pretty simple and straightforward. I did not encounter any issues assembling the stand or attaching the stand to the saw and did it by myself. I then went through checking all of the different angles, measurements, and saw blade to ensure everything was square. From the blade to the table-top, the sliding rail/rip fence, and the rail to the blade I don’t think I could slide a piece of paper between my square and the area being checked. I did have to calibrate the rip fence measurement to the blade, but it was off maybe 1/16”. Cut some scrap using the rip fence, table guide, etc. and the saw performed flawlessly. The dust port worked well and the saw was very stable with the wide leg stance. Lifting it to fold it away is very easy and does not require a lot of strength or effort. And while this one is larger than what it is replacing, it still stows away in a small space. Overall…I am very happy…so far.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Big saw--small footprint I have a shop in my garage so space is at a premium when I'm not using the saw. I love that I can store it in a small space and still have the use of a great saw for my projects. It's so good, I bought a second one for my other woodshop.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great saw for my home shop I have had this saw about a year now and I love it. It has one downside, the miter is VERY loose in the slot, about one degree of slop. I learned to hold side pressure on the miter gauge to get straight cuts. I think DeWalt could have done better on the fit of the miter gauge, but that is the only flaw I can find with the unit. I cut a lot of thin small stock (1/8 thick by 5/8 inch rip) and it performs very well. It still has the power to cut plywood and 2X4's with no problem.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Features and Stores Easily As a dabbler in woodworking I needed a replacement for my 60 yr old Craftsman. This fits the bill perfectly. Stores neatly as my dabble shop is in my basement. I agree with the other reviewers on the miter and storing the accessories but for me this is just a minor thing to overcome, adding the locations to the manual would be a great help. Easily assembled and put to use within 2 hours (including breaks). Adapting my Shop Vac to the dust collecting ports was small hassle but easily overcome. Great saw and well worth the cost.
