Get what you pay forLight-weight and average comfort level. I bought these on sale for about $50 and got more use than I expected out of them. They make no claim to be waterproof or supportive, so I wasn't disappointed that every raindrop goes right through to my socks. Considering that I weigh over 250-pounds, I'm surprised that the seams are all still intact. The outsoles are wearing normally and the insoles are just now starting to break down after 8-months of daily, 30-minute fast-hikes over rough & uneven trails. Just needed a substitute until my $350 German-made boots came back from re-soling.
