An Impossible Job Done WellThe primary purpose for which I bought this sweeper is to clean up the "spiky ball" that are produced in great numbers by sweet gum trees. Sadly, I have fifteen of them on the five acres of my farm that constitute my home's yard, and they are truly a menace in my opinion. I hate them, right along with armadillos and water moccasins! This is an impossible job: the terrain is not very even, the "spiky balls" are everywhere and easily pressed down into the ground by the tires of whatever vehicle you use to pull the sweeper (as well as car and truck traffic on the lawn), and you have to travel a good ways to dump a load.
I was tempted to give four stars instead of five only because nothing - nothing - could do a five star job in this mess without my buying a really expensive piece of machinery (and I’m not sure that would do it). Put in perspective, though, this sweeper does an excellent job: it is strongly made, holds a very large amount of debris, runs smoothly without unnecessary chatter, and even gets up "spiky balls" that are reasonably near the surface.
My previous sweeper, comparably priced, was always having mechanical problems, especially with the wheel-encased chain drive. The Agri-Fab I bought two months ago uses a direct drive mechanism between the wheels and the brush axle that eliminates this problem. I also like the way the dumper rod and handle function. The tires are large and wide, and the machine’s metal portions are heavy duty for a sweeper. I like that you can slide the tow bar from side to side, per your preference in given applications. Possible improvements in my estimation: close the hole in the rear netting where the dump rod joins the cross bar allowing debris to fly out, and strengthen the tow bar shaft so that it will not tend to deform from tightening the bolts on the pin-holder that attaches to the mower.
Here's a tip. I have always pulled my sweeper using a mower (zero-turn, commercial grade) and there are times when this is still the best way to go, particularly when heavy growth on the lawn leads to rows of clippings that you want to get up while you mow. However, I discovered that when you are sweeping only, it is great to pull the sweeper with a golf cart. We have an electric one for getting around the farm, and it works really well for sweeping because it is quiet, comfortable, and easy to operate. Since it is almost silent (especially compared to a mower), you can hear the operation of the sweeper much better and detect any developing issues -- e.g., sticks caught in the brushes, etc. -- before they become a problem. Good luck with your plans. If you decide on an Agri-Fab, I do not believe you will be disappointed. It is a quality product and reasonably priced.

AssemblyJust received it. . Seems solidly made. Now on to the bad part::
I was impressed that is a USA made product. However assembly instructions were much worse than the usual off shore manufactured product. A few words would have been helpful
The on line videos also left a lot to be desired. took looking at several, one even at hyper speed ( almost usless). finally got the plan donwn the assembly proceeded.
actually assembled in good time . Assembly instructions including on line help
sucked. Would recommend if one has some good mechanical intuition other wise NO DEAL..

Performs WellPerformed well during first use on a 2 acre yard and heavy debris. Assembly is straight forward with no difficulties. Upper bag frame did bend at dump rod attach point. Will need reinforcement to prevent further bending, cracking. Some experimenting with brush height to get it right in varying debris conditions and yard terrain.

Extreme Time SaverThis sweeper was very easy to assemble, took me about 45 minutes, then used it to clean up a large area that has 6 or 7 Ash trees that Emerald Ash Borers have claimed and I am getting a lot of Bark and dead branches all over the yard. It would take me many hours and blisters for sure to rack all this material up. This sweeper did it in about a half an hour of just driving around pulling it with my garden tractor. I had to go over the area 3 or 4 times, but it was very clean and looked awesome when I was done. Love this thing! Worth every penny. Highly recommend this sweeper.

A bit disappointingPoorly packed and it arrived with some exterior carton damage but could not see inside the box at the freight depot. Some minor damage not affecting the performance was found when unpacked. It is easy to assemble. Sweeper was purchased for use in the spring when pine cones are all over the lawn. It may be ok for leaves and grass but when cones are tight to the ground, they don't pick up well. If you set it too low, there is too much resistance and the wheels won't drive as you start up and the gears will probably wear out quickly. We mow frequently so it won't be used for clippings.
